I love to write stories about connection and the quirks and complexities of being human. Most of my writing has a rural setting, with nature playing a pivotal role. My style is emotional, uplifting, and sometimes humorous.
In addition to my novel and creative writing, I have published articles for several platforms, including the Huffington Post.
Lately I've focused on projects closer to home, writing for my local community. I'm a contributor for the popular South West blogzine, Exploring Exeter, specialising in literary events and promoting our city library.
My day-job involves writing too: I am a freelance copywriter and digital marketer at Moor Heart Media.
Most recently I've started working as communications manager for The Bookery, a wonderful non-profit community run bookshop & social enterprise in Crediton, Devon.
TILLY LANDER WILLIAMS
I've written stories since I could write words. My first was a legendary tale about the dog next door - in a style suspiciously similar to Beatrix Potter.
Over the years my voice has developed to one of my own: from short stories about school, to songs with more than a hint of teenage angst, to poetry about love and blog posts on parenting.
In 2018 I enrolled with the Faber Academy, and my first novel began to take shape. Since then, I have called myself a 'writer,' although looking back, I have always been one.
I love to connect with fellow writers, bookworms and kind people. Join me on social media or drop me a line using the contact button at the bottom of this page.
